So the Second Wave Covid 19 Lockdown hits even harder this time, especially as it ends just a few weeks before Christmas. But are we going easy on all those little ‘treats’ we have at the end of the year. I suspect not. Most likely the stresses of another lockdown and promises of a vaccine in the near future, will just encourage us to pile on more pounds.
However hard you may try by not looking too closely at yourself in the mirror, wearing looser, less tight fitting clothes, or using an extra notch in your belt to disguise those Lockdown Love-handles, you need to be honest with yourself. Acknowledge now, before it is too late, that you will have a weight problem if you continue snacking between meals, and indulging in too many ‘comfort food’ treats.
Do something positive before Lockdown eases, and you will not have that desperate New Year’s ‘Russian Roulette’ rush to find a diet that will get you ‘swim-suite ready’ for the summer.
